Azure Architecture Reviews for International Regulated Teams
GenioCT delivers fixed-scope Azure architecture assessments remotely from Brussels, for regulated and platform-heavy teams across Europe and selected international time zones. The regulatory vocabulary changes per market. The architecture questions underneath stay the same: who can reach what, where data lives, what the logs can prove, and who owns the exceptions.
One evidence model, several regulators
Every assessment uses the same working method: each control is walked backward to a reason and forward to a proof, with owners and exceptions tracked explicitly. That is why the reviews travel well. Supervisors in different markets phrase their questions in different frameworks, but they are looking at the same architecture: identity, exposure, logging, dependencies, and recovery.
The sections below translate that into the terms each market uses.
EU financial and regulated teams
DORA has applied to financial entities across the EU since January 2025. The questions it raises for a cloud platform are concrete: which functions depend on which ICT services, where data is stored and processed, what the subcontracting chain looks like, and how you would leave. For teams in Ireland, the Netherlands, the Nordics, and other EU markets, the Remote Azure Platform Evidence Review turns those register and risk questions into an inventory, a control-to-evidence mapping, and a remediation roadmap.
For Luxembourg financial teams, we run a dedicated DORA and CSSF-aware assessment funnel at genioct.lu.
United Kingdom
UK operational resilience rules put the weight on important business services, impact tolerances, and material third-party arrangements, including structured reporting on the suppliers those services depend on. In practice that means knowing your Azure dependency graph and being able to show it. The Platform Evidence Review maps services to dependencies and controls; the API Edge Architecture Review covers the exposure layer where concentration and single points of failure tend to hide.
Switzerland
FINMA's circular on operational risks and resilience has been in force since January 2024, and it treats cyber resilience, outsourcing, and traceable decision-making as supervisory topics. Swiss financial teams tend to arrive with a specific flavour of question: can we show why the architecture is arranged the way it is, and who approved the exceptions. That is the evidence model in one sentence, applied in FINMA vocabulary, and it is the core of the Platform Evidence Review.
Singapore and APAC
MAS expects financial institutions to manage cloud under its outsourcing and technology-risk guidelines, with particular attention to access, data location, and recoverability. The time-zone overlap with Brussels is workable: European mornings are Singapore afternoons, and the review format needs only a handful of live sessions. The Azure AI Platform Architecture Review and the API Edge Architecture Review are the usual entry points here.
What a remote review looks like
- → Read-only access, or screen-shared sessions when granting access is not possible
- → Structured workshops scheduled across time zones, with decisions captured in writing
- → Written findings, a risk ranking, and a remediation roadmap you can circulate internally
- → Delivery in English, with French and Dutch available
- → Evidence stays in your tenant, and access ends with the engagement
Where the boundary sits
We work on technical architecture, cloud evidence, and remediation roadmaps. Legal interpretation and regulatory sign-off remain with your risk, compliance, or legal teams, whatever the jurisdiction. We also will not pretend to be local: GenioCT is a Brussels-based consultancy (GenioCT BV), which is exactly why the offer is fixed-scope, remote, and written down.
It is also not a managed service, staff augmentation, or operational support offer. GenioCT fits when you need independent senior architecture judgement, written findings, and a decision roadmap before an audit, a migration, a procurement round, or a production rollout.

Bring a decision you need to defend later.
A short intake call fixes scope, access, and dates across time zones. You receive a written proposal with a fixed fee before anything starts. We run one or two assessments at a time.
